This level of Akoya pearl quality is known as "Hanadama", thus this piece is a Hanadama pearl necklace.  The word "Hanadama" translates from Japanese as "Spherical Flower", which signifies the perfection of these Akoya pearls.  Museum Way Pearls includes the Certified Hanadama pearls certificate, which is certified in Japan. This certificate must accompany any pearl referred to as Hanadama, otherwise the pearls are not considered authentic Hanadama pearls.  This necklace is 18-inches-long and you can also select from a 14k white or yellow gold clasp.
